In self-capture activities, sometimes the initial response might require additional clarity or detail. When this happens, a "redo request" is issued by the researcher. The process of "Submitting a Redo for a Self Captures Activity Response as a Respondent" outlines the steps and guidance needed to navigate and fulfill such requests, ensuring responses are as comprehensive and accurate as intended.
Submitting a Redo for a Self Captures Activity Response as a Respondent
When a researcher wants you to redo a specific task in an activity they will send a "Redo request". You will then receive an email notification.
Receiving the Redo Request Email
The process begins with the arrival of an email in your inbox. This email notifies you that a redo is requested for one of your self-capture activity responses. Go ahead and open the email.
Please, make sure to take note of any additional instructions mentioned by the researcher in the email.
You can now click the link, it will directly take you to a page where you can redo the specific task.
Resubmitting Your Response
Clicking the link will open up the activity in question. There is a clear indication on the activity page showing the sections that need to be redone.
As you can see in the image below, only the task that needs to be redone is clickable:
You can now go ahead a submit the next response. Make necessary edits or additions based on the feedback provided by the researcher or recruiter. In this example, the response form is required in an image.
Once satisfied, submit the response. Ensure all required fields or sections of the task are adequately addressed before finalizing your submission.
You can now go ahead and submit the whole survey/activity by clicking the "I'm done" button located at the top of the activity.
After successfully submitting your redo response, you will be redirected out of the activity.
