This brief guide will provide information on respondents tech check flow. It will also cover sending tech check links from the respondent hub. There is also a step-by-step walkthrough of the process your respondent will go through when they complete their tech check via your project's unique link.
Respondent Tech Check Flow
When recruits are invited to a tech check from the respondent hub, they receive an email similar to this:

If your project requires respondents to join using a desktop or laptop, the invitations for the respondent hub will include instructions catered specifically to computer users.
If you plan on allowing respondents to enter via a mobile device (smartphones and tablets) the default email will update to note that the tech check should be completed with the same mobile device and internet connection the respondent plans on using during the session.
Tech Check Process
Clicking on the link takes them to the Video Response Page:
From here they should be able to record their video response by pressing start and answering the video test question. If the session is set up for mobile screen sharing there will be additional instructions to download the app to their phone and show it in the recording.
Once they are done with the test question, they will have to opportunity to playback the video and submit or start over and re-record it until they are satisfied.
If they need help due to audio or video issues they can use the "I need help!" link and it will open a link to our support page for help with troubleshooting their tech check.
