Overview
This brief guide will provide instructions on setting up multiple discussion guides, we will also cover how to deploy the discussion guide during your live session.
If you have editor access to your project or you are the project owner, you can create and edit interactive discussion guides at the project level. These multiple guides can be used in your live sessions for multi-language or multi-profile studies.
Setting Up Multiple Discussion Guides
Go to INTERVIEW PREP > DISCUSSION GUIDE:
Edit to the name of your choosing by clicking on the pencil icon next to the Save button:
Organize your questions into sections. For each section, set an optional amount of time you expect to spend on those questions.
Questions and sections can be reordered using the 6 dot icon to the left of each question. Drag and drop entire sections or questions within a section. You can also drag a question out of one section and into another. Be sure to save!
Discussion guides can be edited at any time, and once changes are saved, they are immediately available in any live conversations.
To Create a New Discussion Guide
You can start by navigating to the "Discussion Guide" tab that is in the "interview prep section".
Click on the Create New button next to the discussion guide name:
Select Create New Discussion Guide:
Your new guide template will be added to the dropdown list and you can start editing right away! Don't forget to save!
To Clone a Previously Built Discussion Guide
Click on the Create New button next to the discussion guide name:
Then select Duplicate Discussion Guide
This will add your duplicated guide and number it consecutively:
You can rename it by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the Save button and/or start editing immediately. Don't forget to save.
We will create several discussion guides and view in the next section of this article how they will appear in the live meeting room
Using the Interactive Discussion Guide You Created
These discussion guides are now available in the live meeting room from the Discussion Guide button on the chat panel. Use the dropdown list to choose the one you need for your discussion!
This is how the discussion guide appears in the live meeting room. You will be able to switch between all your created discussion guides.
