This brief guide will provide instructions on how to join a session as a respondent. If you've been selected for a study as a paid participant, you will receive a tech check invitation and a calendar invitation with the date/time and link for your study.
How to Join a Session
TECH CHECK: Your tech check invitation will include system and device requirements for joining the study along with a link to record your tech check. This tech check is to verify that you have a working webcam, microphone, computer, and internet connection. You must complete this check before you can join your session.
CALENDAR INVITATION: After a successful tech check, you will receive an invitation to your study. This invitation will include the date, time, and link to your study. It also includes important pre-session setup information to help you have a problem-free interview. You must click the purple CONFIRM button to lock in your attendance.
On the day of your discussion, please start joining at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time so that any issues can be addressed early and the session can start on time. Here are some other preparation and troubleshooting steps to help you have a great discussion.
