What is Stimuli?
Stimuli are prompts or elaborations that can be added to tasks to motivate or guide the respondent's response.

Adding stimulus to a task allows researchers to add richer context to the questions and allows for a more robust response. Some use cases include:
How to Add Stimulus to a Task
You can start by navigating to your project's Self Captures tab. Identify the activity you want to edit or create a new activity.
To add a stimulus to a task in the 'Edit Activity' view, click the 'Options' button below the text box of the task, and click on '+ Add Stimulus'.
You will be prompted to a page to upload your stim
You will then see that the stim has been added to the task.
You can click 'Save & Next' to save the stimulus task.
You will then be taken to the activity settings page. In the Activity Label section, select the desired Activity Label option you'd like to use. To learn more about using labels you can review this article How to Add and Use Labels in Your Self Captures Activity
Make sure to click 'Save & Next'.
Your activity is now ready to be shared.

Copy Link: This allows you to copy the activity link for sharing via email, text, or any other external platform.

Previewing Added Stimulus
Click the expand icon to preview the stimulus added to a task.
Alternatively, the 'Preview Activity' button will also present a view of what it may look like for a respondent task in both mobile view and desktop view.
